Grew up next to the sea but I’m a very poor swimmer (though I float really well). A ‘giant’ to many of my friends but I have a big appreciation for the small things, a smile, a tear, a laugh, a bug on a leaf.
Photography grew out of a pursuit for perfection in my images due to frustration with the very simple film camera I began with. I would take photos of random things around where I lived, of my friends, of parties, and then one day realised I was obsessed with taking photos.
My interest in cartoons and comics show in my fondness of colour, composition. Imagery should tell stories and make you feel something deep inside. I enjoy life and try to show the many aspects of it. I love people; talking, listening, interacting and mostly observing. They are my favourite subjects.
